to the early ones
If you're reading this, you got in early.
Like actually early. Not “I joined before it was cool” early. Before it was even clear what this was.
There were less than a hundred of you. No noise. No hype. Just people who decided to show up anyway.
And that matters more than you think.
Some of you will just read. Some of you will start posting. A few of you will quietly shape what this becomes.
But all of you did the one thing most people won't. You showed up when there was nothing in it for you yet.
So understand this:
Every thread you write sets the standard.
Someone joins later, scrolls, sees your post, and goes “okay, this is how it's done here.” You're not just using this. You're defining it.
You're holding access that won't stay open forever.
When Commons opens up, anyone can walk in. But the inner rooms don't. That stays invite-only. And you're already inside. That doesn't get taken away.
Same with the badge.
“Founding Member” stops existing the moment we go public. You keep it. That's your timestamp. Proof you were here when it was still small enough to matter.
But honestly, none of that is the real point.
What I actually want from this is simpler. Figure out your taste. What you like. Why you like it. How to say that properly.
If you start doing that here, then this is working.
That's it.
Keep it honest.
See you on the inside.
